"I’ve been working in community-based youth services for over 30 years and constantly
find myself in awe of the dedication and sheer tenacity of the people that operate
these programs. Their passion is evident and their humanity is humbling. How can
anyone not love a job that allows you to bring these people together and watch the
synergy that results? Each time I have the opportunity to visit a program and meet
people at our trainings, I feel energized and wonder at the on-going development of
the field. Despite enormous challenges, the mission and the vision remain clear. Youth
are our future and our responsibility."
