Peer to Peer Event: Green Movement, Civic Engagement, and You

Join MANY as our member organization, Our House, hosts us for our second Peer to Peer Member Event on July 14th. This event will highlight Our House’s impactful programming and allow for a conversation with MANY's Executive Director, Megan Blondin, and your peers surrounding concepts highlighted in this year’s member survey including youth and the green movement and expanding funding opportunities and creative solutions.

Discuss with your peers and MANY staff best practices for integrating the green movement into your programming, finding alternative strategies to engage youth, the importance of civic engagement, and the value of these programs community wide.  We will talk about new funding sources, how to expand services, and partner with other programs. MANY can help you to make strategic and meaningful expansion in your community utilizing green movement practices and civic engagement.

The Peer to Peer host, Our House, utilizes many innovated strategies to truly engage with at-risk adolescents, so that they become productive members of their community. By blending life skills, hands-on training and instruction in carpentry, constuction, and farming, academics and civic engagement, Our House changes the lives of youth and their communities daily.

Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP strongly recommended. This event is open to members and nonmembers. Please feel free to invite anyone who would be interested in this conversation. Click here to register for this event.
